Anxiously Engaged

Well, its been forever since I have posted anything, and I was editing a shoot tonight and thought I should post it quick. I have a TON of photos I need to sort through and edit, especially from Israel/Egypt/Jordan, so maybe this will start me off again. Once a week maybe?...

Anyways, here's a few shots from my shoot with Lurel and Sam. Cheers...

Help Me Grow Shoot

Had the opportunity to do a shoot of a Utah organization called Help Me Grow.  They are starting (started now probably) a hot-line for mothers with questions about parenting little kids.  I was going to design a billboard as well for them but had to leave to Israel before we got to that stage so they got someone else to do it.  So one of these photos or one like it is on a billboard in Utah someplace...  If you see it snap a picture and send it to me!

I got to shoot this with a 50MP Hasselbladd!!  It was awesome!  And I was in BYU's studio and it was a pretty sweet setup.

Just to show you the power of 50 megapixels, here is a 1:1 crop of the faces from the shot above.  Pretty sick.

Palm Sunday in Jerusalem

Well, this is a week late pretty much, but better than never I suppose.  Palm Sunday was absolutely amazing here in Jerusalem.  In the morning I spent several hours in the morning at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher taking pictures of the people worshipping there and the various ceremonies and things going on.

Later in the day we walked with the palm procession from Bethpage to St. Annes church, and it super amazing.  Definitely one of my favorite events of the semester.  It was awesome to join with thousands of other Christians in celebrating Christ.

Shepherds Fields

Been slow posting lately, but I guess I have lots of content for over the summer.. Here is a really rough (and in need of some work) shot of a field near Bethlehem where we went to read the Christmas story.

Sunset over the Galilee

We finally have good clouds! The last few weeks have had either clear skies or hazy overcast, both of which are terrible for photos. Here in the Galilee we have had wonderful clouds all day, so I thought I would take the opportunity to put together a HDR panorama. This was composed of 8 HDR shots of 3 exposures each so 24 exposures total.
