Brazilian Style!

Well, its been a LONG time... I did shoot some engagements over summer, but never posted them here.... Anyways, I had a good shoot today with this fine couple from Brazil. They flew me down there to take the pics and it was a good time... Okay, so they both live here Utah, but hey, they are from Brazil. They want the final in Black and White / sepia, so that's why most of these are that way.

Urban Jungle

I got to go shoot 5 lovely ladies yesterday, and decided to try to look around Lethbridge for some good grungy walls and things.  All in all it turned out to be a great evening, and we got some sweet shots.

Me and the Crew:   (the crew and I?...)

What the heck?  not 30 min, not 60, not even 40...   THIRTY EIGHT MIN MAX!!!!

Those Magnificient Men in their Flying Machines!

Thought I would finally get around to posting a few pictures from the Lethbridge Airshow I went to a week or so ago. It was a pretty good show I thought.

The Canadian Army Parachute Team was there and put on a pretty spectacular show:

I caught the A-10 right between the flags several times, hoping to get something dramatic...  This was as good as it got..  Not quite what I was hoping for, but pretty decent I guess.

They had a gorgeous Mustang that had actually seen time in WWII.  I was watching it too much and didn't get a ton of great pics of it...  I need a bigger lens!!!

A crazy wingwalker lady was pretty fun to watch

Finally, the Canadian aerobatics team, the Snowbirds.  They were the grande finale and they were amazing as usual.  They skill of the pilots is unbelievable.  They said the average formation calls for around 6 feet of clearance between aircraft, and on some they overlap each other by 5 feet (in diamond formations etc...).  Amazing!

Thunder in the Valley 09

I went to a fireworks show up in the Crowsnest Pass called "Thunder in the Valley" and am finally getting around to posting some of the pictures. I have gone for the past three years and it is always an excellent show. Being a farm boy from the middle of nowhere, I have not seen a lot of fireworks, so these are definitely the best ones I have ever seen, but I think they are pretty good generally as well, as tons of people come from hours and hours away just to see them. (although this might just be more of a commentary on Alberta fireworks in general... ?. )
