I thought I had done everything I wanted to this photo, and so I uploaded it. However, after staring at it for a while I messed around with the Highlights slider in Lightroom 4 and Wammo!! --The sky suddenly looked WAY better. Thank you Lightroom!
Beautiful! That's awesome you can use lightroom to make it look more like it really looked--it's always so disappointing to take a picture of a beautiful sky and the photo doesn't do it justice.
Yup Lightroom is pretty amazing. Tho of course it depends on what information is in the picture to begin with. In this case this is actually a HDR photo with 3 bracketed photos (dark, normal, bright).... and... It's a panorama as well, so there are about 5 sets of photos.. but that doesn't affect the brightness.... Anyways, ya it is super nice to have good tools! thanks!
