Sparks Fly

Unfortunately, not the Valentines Day kind, but sparks nonetheless. I've been wanting to try some steel wool spirals for a long time and today I finally got around to it! I followed this guide, as it seemed like a nice easy way to get fast and interesting results with little time between shots. I don't have the full setup done yet but I finished enough to go out and try some shots. I took 4 shots and the first one turned out to be my favorite! I'll have to practice some more of course, but I thought it was pretty decent for the first time!

  2. Thanks! Heidi, theres a link in the text to an article about how it's done... basically just light steel wool on fire and spin it around on a string. You can kinda see me in the middle of the sparks if you look close.... http://www.diyphotography.net/how-to-create-a-steel-wool-light-painting-vortex
