Shooters in Logan

Well, it was a wonderful day out shooting yesterday with Mel, and then being with him and his family for a bit and also with the Facebook Pic-a-Day group people.

We went to a few streams and spent 2 or 3 hours taking pictures. I think I have an easier time getting simple and pleasing pictures in other forms of photography other than pure nature photography. While Mel can capture an entire scene without it looking messy and cluttered, I find that I have difficulties doing the same. Going Macro helps me out a lot, and also having people in the image helps me a lot too, as you can see from this first image.

Anyways, Enjoy... if you can lol.. Actually I think there are a few quite nice ones in here, but I definitely need to get out and shoot more.

  2. I love the first pic of the maple leaves. It reminds me of one of the puzzles we did at Christmas.

  3. Great shots! Love the macro shots and the leaves on the tree trunk. And the model is definitely good looking from the back side!

  4. You're getting good. I guess I'll give up my post as family photographer. Actually, I bestow that upon you willingly and enthusiastically. It's yours.
